Why workshops?
They represent a small initial investment, which can lead us to good investment results.
Why workshops?
Because they are an effective way to identify needs (challenges) and provide prerequisites for better definition of goals. After getting acquainted with the way of organization, we start with the observed project actors, their key influences on business processes, and then the functionality that should be provided in order to achieve positive impacts, or possibly eliminate or minimize negative ones.
We usually organize workshops lasting 2-3 hours, with adequate preparation based on the initially received inputs. The output process forms a workshop report.
We try to organize the activities during the workshop with a high degree of visualization. They usually include the creation of a GAP analysis, which should show the deviations between the existing and the desired state.
Some workshops include the creation of the so-called cost-benefit analysis.
This is one of the world-proven ways of project development - how to get from ideas (challenges) to a clear project framework.
This is how we arrive at a higher-quality project task, because we are faced with the analysis of challenges and technological possibilities, and thus we arrive at better-quality optimal solutions from the aspect of investment/benefit.
An example of workshops "Intranet portal"
1. Solution concept (why and how)
The problems of organization and data exchange is becoming an increasingly pronounced challenge in the conditions of increasingly dynamic market conditions. As a result, there is a high degree of data fragmentation in traditional information systems (documents on computers and in numerous applications). At the same time, they are insufficiently structured, but very often inadequately provided. That is why centralized hosting and access to data is needed. These are necessary prerequisites for data security, to ensure authorized access, and enable more efficient filtering and speed up data exchange.
2. Solution - internal portal
The solution is in the digital transformation of business processes, the introduction of the internal Portal into regular operations, the so-called Intranet solutions for managing the exchange of numerous business data (project, accounting...)
3. Data mapping and processes of their exchange.
4. Questions and additional explanations
5. Benefit mapping & Cost benefit analisys
Benefit map, in certain cases and Cost benefit analysis and Budget.
